Monica wrote the following passage about space exploration for her science project.

NASA developed a space program to study if there is water on Mars. They sent a shuttle to Mars to view and take pictures of the planet. The pictures showed evidence of frozen water on the poles. This finding increased the funding NASA would get and promoted the idea that people could live on Mars. As a result, more people came to Florida to try and find work. The education shifted to become more literature based as more articles came out on life on Mars. Businesses promoted the idea that there could be life on other planets by manufacturing and selling goods based on the new findings. As well, businesses expanded and shifted to other states to help increase space exploration.

Which part of Monica's report could she have improved on to reflect how the NASA findings changed the culture and economy in Florida?

A) Businesses were restricted by the government on how much they could promote and sell space merchandise as they wanted to keep it to themselves.

B) Instead of the education shifting to more literature based, the education system kept reinforcing the importance of science, engineering, and mathematics.

C) The space exploration stayed solely in Florida. There are no other areas in the United States where they develop tools to research space.

D)Workers did not move to Florida, but moved away from Florida to try and find new work.
