Pheromones are one of the key ways that honeybees communicate with each other. Pheromones are a chemical substance secreted by some animals that induce a behavioral response from another animal of the same species, particularly for social animals. In a study of the effectiveness of pheromones, a team of researchers synthesized a pheromone artificially in a lab and tested in two typical honeybee habitats – woodlands and orchards. Some Western Honeybees were then released into these habitats and exposed to the pheromone. 86 of the 112 honeybees in woodland responded to the pheromone while 164 of the 215 honeybees responded in orchards. Compare the proportion of honeybee responses to pheromone in these two places using a hypothesis test with 90% reliability and draw an inference from your result.
