Total isolation made the monks resent their religion, and they wanted to return to regular society. Because the monks were isolated, people forgot about them and chose other paths. The monks’ isolation prohibited them from helping others and spreading Buddhism. Isolation made it easy for the monks to forget about those outside the monasteries.

Not all of the monks leave to the forests or monasteries. In 1988 in myanmar .monks also demonstrated against the the policy they dont like .There are even free learning school built by the monks .They dont mind if people choose other paths .because good or bad only matter.
