Scientists are people who engage themselves in systematic activities to acquire knowledge and predict the natural world. It is their task to make researches, studies and experiments which would allow the masses to understand the world we live in. If they refuse to relay significant information to other scientists and the public, the world will be faced by certain consequences like:

-continued ignorance
-untreated diseases
-unnamed newly discovered species
-stagnant technology innovation
-war
-death

These are just few of the many things that could be the result of scientists withholding information from other scientists and the public.
