In my opinion state governments play a larger role than the central government does when it comes to specific states. The central government rarely pays attention to individual state policies or problems. State governments serve at a smaller scale. The governor, congressmen, and senators of a state work hard to ensure wellness for that state therefore, the stronger the state government is, the more they can be able to effectively serve their citizen's wants and needs. The state government also has more authority in local lawmaking which is also very important.
