Traditionally feminine traits include kindness, empathy, humility, and sensitivity, but traits associated with femininity differ between societies and individuals and are influenced by various social and cultural factors. For example, girls and women are generally expected to dress typically feminine and be polite, helpful and nurturing. Men are generally expected to be strong, aggressive and brave. Every society, ethnic group, and culture has gender role expectations, but these can be very different from group to group.
