Write your view on sacrificing animals during the time of Dashain Festival

During the fifteen days of the festival, hundreds of thousands of animals are sacrificed to help mankind liberate themselves of their sins and grant them of their wishes.  The focus mainly is on goat meat with other varieties like buffalo, poultry and fish. Growing up in Nepal, most children get accustomed to animal sacrifice mainly during the Dasain festival and other important occasions like after the birth of a son and the marriage of a son in certain families
