A national flag usually represents a country, or symbolizes it. Our national flag reflects our history, culture, and religion. It has 50 stars, because we have 50 states. It has red and blue for the democrats and republicans. Our flag represents us. It is the national pride because it is dripping with culture. It explains the country. We have a pledge for the flag. A pledge of allegiance. It quite literally says "I pledge allegiance, to the flag...". Our flag is the national pride. It is the very thing that represents the country.
