Read the excerpt from "Flowers for Algernon." What a dummy I am! I didn't even understand what she was talking about. I read the grammar book last night and it explanes the whole thing. Then I saw it was the same way as Miss Kinnian was trying to tell me, but I didn't get it.

After I figured out how punctuation worked, I read over all my old Progress Reports from the beginning. Boy, did I have crazy spelling and punctuation!

The language choices in this passage show that Charlie

looks at him differently differently as he becomes smarter.
knows there is still a lot that he doesn’t understand.
wishes he could still do things the way he used to.
sees Miss Kinnian differently as he becomes smarter.
