Racism is What? and what can we do to stop it.

Racism is discrimination on the basis of race. It can be stopped by teaching children (and adults) that every human is same and every human is equal.

Racism is judging someone based on the color of their skin (black or white)

I think that completely stopping racism is close to impossible, but we can make it very clear from the time kids are at a very young age that we are EQUALS nobody is better than someone because of the color of their skin.

Explanation:

People seem to think that only white people can be racist against people of color, but in reality I (a young white girl) also have to live in fear just because my ancestors were Irish and English. I find myself feeling like I have done something wrong because the media makes white people out to be bad guys.    (please don't attack me for this response)
