Should the United States make English the official language? Why or why not? Should more
than one language be made official? If so, which ones?

I think not because I’m America there are so many different foreigners who come here speaking there native language and them having to learn English as there second language could be tough. As an example if you go to a store and have trouble speaking the “English language” you may have a hard time.
