In your opinion, did the New Deal work to assist the people and the economy during the Great Depression? You must provide facts to support your opinion.

This isn’t very helpful probably but it helped white people lol any POC were not helped at all. i can’t remember exactly what he did bc i learned this last year but i know that he was actually relatively successful in helping many (white) people get jobs and become less burdened financially. the one thing i remember is that he ordered a “bank holiday” to give the banks a few days or something to recover and that helped a lot.
