2. Light-rail system is a type of public transportation that involves trains that are of lower capacity and speed to that of metro systems but also higher capacity and speed than that of traditional trams. This system was introduced in order to influence more people to take public transport system rather than travel by their private transportation systems.

3. Carpool lanes are separate lanes for cars or vehicles that have a driver and more than two passengers such as in carpools, vanpools, etc. These particular lanes were made so that more people might opt for such carpools and will lead to fewer cars on the highways.
