Federalism is a system or type of government that splits power among states or separate governing systems while still being a single government in simple words. In Ethiopia, Federalism was founded for the reasons of equally give power to ethnic groups in the country. In other countries such as the USA, federalism is widespread and is still used today. There are many federal agencies in American each with its own separate power. Examples include the US Department of State, the Social Security Administration, the USPS, The United States Department of Labor, and The United States Department of Health and Human Services.
