Read the following weaknesses and for each use the space provided to say what you could do to turn those weaknesses into strengths. Weaknesses:
I am always running late.

I wait until the last minute to do my homework.

I failed an assignment instead of asking for help.

My feelings are hurt when someone criticizes me.

I don’t work well on group projects with my classmates.

I sometimes have a bad attitude with my teachers and classmates.

I often lose my temper.

I have to do things my way.

I give up when an assignment becomes too difficult.

I am usually not open to doing things differently than what I normally do.

For always running late: leave ten minutes before you would actually need to to be there on time

For waiting till the last minute: the day you get your homework clear a time frame to start working on it and when you want to have it finished by

For failing instead of asking for help: sometimes it best to give in to asking instead of fighting with yourself

For feelings: I would take the criticism (only if it’s constructive) and try to apply it to what the situation is to do better ( yes I know it’s hard sometimes, I have the same problem)

For loosing homework: put all of your homework in a folder or binder for each class it helps me a ton

For not doing well in group projects: I know it hard I struggle with it too but try and let the other group members figure out what they’re going to do first and see if what they’re not going to do is something that you can do, if not ask the others or maybe just one other if they would be able to work with you

For bad attitudes: I also struggle with this but I’ve found just not talking to classmates is the best way to go and for teachers I’ve found that warning them about the attitude

For loosing your temper: try investing in a fidget toy or stress ball

For having to do things YOUR way: try going out of your comfort zone but also try to use coping skills to keep calm

For giving up: take a break when you start to get frustrated or confused and come back to it after five to ten minutes

For not being open: try little by little doing things a different way than you would do normally. Not all at once take baby steps!
