The trans community has really grown over the years and our rights have been given and taken away from us too many times. It's only February and 7 trans women have been kil.led already. Not only that but a large majority of those women as a whole over the years are black women. Doctors are allowed to refuse care, employers are allowed to refuse us work, all because we are "different" or "abnormal". People argue that allowing trans people to undergo surgery or use the correct bathroom is against their religion and are able to get away with mistreating us. Law enforcement doesn't really get involved because a majority of our assaulters are white and lie about what happened.
