Explain why public speaking was an important part of schooling for wealthy Romans.

The orator, or student of rhetoric, was important in Roman society because of the constant political strife that occurred throughout Roman history. Young men who studied under a rhetor would not only focus on public speaking.

The schooling that the Antiquated Roman youngsters had been a solid training. This training was essential to Roman families and kids that were from rich families would discover guides that would show their youngsters.  

These guides cost a ton of cash and individuals that were poor, or slaves couldn't stand to have this kind of training.  

Kids that were poor, more often than not, they had no schooling by any means. This implied that those individuals would as a rule have occupations and would need to look for some kind of employment.
