Simple sentences have a subject and a predicate and only display one complete thought. Simple sentences can also be called an independent clause. Compound sentences have two subjects and two predicates. Two independent clauses.

Complex Sentences are sentences with one independent clause combined with a dependent clause.

Compound-Complex Sentence is a sentence which contains at least two independent clauses and one dependent clause.
