The world doesn’t care about your self-esteem.

Self-esteem is confidence in yourself but the world needs confidence in themselves first. If a person needs to bring someone down to get up they will do it. If the world needs your help they will ask for it and as you are helping them get better and above you, you will being to lose the confidence in yourself because you help someone get there but you could not get there, this person will not care that they may have ruined your self-esteem.
