Precaution: Conduction of mock drills, pre-planning between government and the public to reduce the severity of the natural hazards, precautions that can be taken at the family level that is how one can protect all members of the family during hazard by developing infrastructure of the house that remains secure during hazard, instructing children not to use electric switches during any hazard as there are chances of getting shock.

Awareness: Government should create awareness about natural hazards among people in hazard prone or non-hazard prone areas. Some people should volunteer in teaching people precautions and preparations that can be done to save themselves during hazards like the use of raincoat instead of cotton clothes during flood, stay away from electric poles, making a preparatory bag that contain food, water, medicines, money and others.
