What was the courts desicion in the us v nixon and how did the decision uphold the idea that even the president of the united states is not above the nations laws?

It was a unanimous decision of 8-0 against President Nixon for his involvement in the Watergate scandal. It goes to show that even the President is held accountable for his illegal actions, as should any American citizen.
