How did african american culture develop in cities in the south

African American culture was a blend of African and Western practices.The blending of these two cultures is what created and entire new culture which was the African American unique culture. Many factors contributed to this cultures such as their beliefs and one of the most important the music. Music help slaves get into steady rhythm as they pick crops and did field work. It also help them take their mind of work. Slaves were often prevented from reading and writing by restrictive laws.They compensated with oral forms of communication, including music and storytelling.Slave culture also incorporated American Christian custom.  

It depends on what you believe, if you’re christian that you would have been told that the first humans were created by god and that we’re all decedent's from adam and eve but scientist say otherwise
