The “Berlin Blockade” was one of the major disasters of the “Cold war” that took place for almost 1 year from June 24th 1948 to May 12th 1949. During the period of ‘transnational occupation’ and after the many years of Second World War, the Soviet Union blocked the railways, canal, road, access towards the “Western Annexed Berlin” for the “Western alliances”. The principal motive for the incidence of the obstruction was the starting phase of the “Cold war”. Joseph Stalin was to take over Eastern Europe through “Salami tactics” and in the meanwhile, Czechoslovakia accepted communist ideologies.

Soviet aimed to bring back “West Berlin” under its control through the blockade. On May 12th, 1949 Satin took back the “blockade” as he was unsuccessful to starve “Allied” out of Berlin.
