Why is it important to keep an open mind when listening to unfamiliar music?

When listening to an unfamiliar music, one should be open minded because the music that someone is listening might have been viewed as a great music to other people, but not to the one who is listening to it.  There are different kinds of music that can also be linked to the cultures of the different people in different country.  Since music and culture are usually together in a certain country, music can be viewed as one of the most important part of the country’s growth.

Being open minded also helps people to be sensitive and more open to various kinds of music.  This will also help people not to take music for granted and should usually listen to the our surroundings.
