His Majesty the King, Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, His Royal Highness Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, the Prime Minister and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister have shown their high confidence in me and have assigned me huge responsibilities as the Electricity and Water Affairs Minister.

Electricity and water are essential services that we provide to our homeland. The achievements, development and sustainability of these services in Bahrain have been immense in the past many years. We believe, however, their further improvement and upgrade are our responsibility in the future under the guidance of the esteemed government and within the framework of its programme of work and keeping in minds Bahrain's 2030 Economic Vision as well as the National Strategy.

The speech of His Royal Highness the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister at the Government Forum 2019, held under the patronage of His Royal Highness the Prime Minister, outlined the priorities of the Electricity and Water Authority in the next phase. We are committed to put those into effect, God willing.

With all your efforts, we will continue the process of achievement and development with the guidance of the wise leadership to serve citizens and residents in our beloved country.
