Environmental pressures on businesses can be in the form of natural or man made calamities like heavy rainfall causing flood, earthquake, landslide, and others. Also the drought, natural or induced fire hazard, and low wind speed are effective for loss of business. As any kind of natural calamity can result in loss of property, machines, and others which can have an impact on business. In drought agriculture business will hamper due to soil being ineffective in producing crops. Natural or induced fire can also damage crops, and property required for production. If the wind speed is low then electrical energy cannot be harnessed from it.  All these environmental effects can have a negative effect on the economic activities in the businesses.
