Due to the provisions of the Violence Against Women Act, police responding to a domestic dispute are required to make an arrest if there are obvious signs of violence. Ken and Barbie are in a domestic dispute which has caused a neighbor to call the police. Just before the police arrive Barbie slams Ken in the face with a folding chair, breaking his nose. When the police arrive she claims Ken had been beating her, even though she shows no sign of injury. In spite of the argument, both Barbie and Ken say they do not want to press any charges.
