It's importances in Nepal are;1) It is important to carry out administrative works and public services smoothly and effectively.2) To maintain close relation between the state and its people.3) To utilize local means and resources.4) To increase public participation in government activities.5) Not to depend upon centre for everything.6) For the decentralization of power.7) To maintain balanced population distribution.
