The West has large open areas untouched by people. The land includes large forests, deserts, and mountains. The variety causes wide differences in weather. Hiking and camping are popular. The environment is an important issue. Ranching, lumbering, and mining are important industries. Los Angeles, Seattle, and Denver are major cities.

The Most essential industries found on the West include Ranching ,lumbering and Mining not to mention a few .The Major cities include Los Angeles ,Denver and Seattle

their fear for the creation of a strong federal government and the president’s power of veto in their opinion would create a tyrannical rule that would dominate the people. they defended the importance of restraining the government’s power towards people at any cost.
