the anglo nepal war also known as the gorkha war which was fought between the gorkhali army of the kingdom if nepal and the british forces of the east india company. and nepal was forced to surrender by signing a treaty. as british were from cool and hot climate they found india very hot and finding nepal an epitome of cool locations like ilam darjeeling etc and many more.they develop vested interest to capture it.
