1. Equality means fairness. Equality means equal treatment. I think a lot of people try to find a hidden meaning in the definition of equality to excuse the unfair treatment thousands of people receive on a daily basis. In America, equality means that we’re are all treated with equal respect. “One nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all”. We are all offered the same or quite similar opportunities based on skill- not favor. Given equal education for our wellbeing, not prejudice stereotypes.

2. I think our “freedom” needs to be reasonable. People should have the freedom to play music at a party so loud that neighbors are being disturbed- especially LATE at night. Also, unless the animal is a legally certified service animal, I don’t think pets should be allowed in stores. You never who might be allergic and how severe the symptoms of that person are. And their life is not worth it just so you can show off your pet or refrain from leaving them home for a few hours.
