Six experts in their respective fields are traveling together on a train trip. They sit facing each other, in groups of three, as indicated by the diagram
below.
The six experts are an essayist, an archaeologist, a musician, a novelist, a
playwright and poet. Each one has written a book in his special field and
each one is now reading a book that was written by one of the others. No
two people are reading the same book.
Expert B is sitting between the essayist and the musician. The essayist is
sitting opposite the archaelogist. Expert D is sitting opposite the novelist.
Expert E is sitting next to the playwright. Expert A is reading essays. Expert
C is reading a book written by the person sitting opposite of him. Expert D
is reading a book written by the playwright. Expert A is sitting in the corner
and has not interest in archaelogist. Expert C is sitting between the
Novelist and the Archaelogist. Expert E is reading a book written by the
musician. Expert F has never read a book of poetry. Obviously he is not a poet.
