When presented with the design of Stanley Milgram’s "shock" experiment," a group of experts and lay people estimated that only the rare participant would be completely obedient and that most people would disobey early-on in the experiment. However, the results from his study indicated that of his male and female participants obeyed the experimenter until the conclusion of the experiment.
