Directions: 1. The Students will compose a 2-stanza poem about a Region of the classical civilizations and explain how the chosen region helped/contributed to world awareness.

2. The composed poem can be in free verse or using rhymes.

3. Each stanza must contain 3-4 lines.

4. The First stanza should contain a description of a chosen Classical Civilization and their contribution.

5. The Second stanza should discuss how the student appreciates the importance of the chosen contribution in influencing the development of the world today.

6. Rubrics will be used for the evaluation
