Law: The U. S. government requires all men at age 18 to register and be available for the draft to military service.
Belief: Quakers and other religions are opposed to war.

Case #4: Employment Division v. Smith (1990)
Law: Oregon has forbidden the use of the hallucinogenic drug Peyote, and other similar drugs.
Belief: Native American tribe’s belief in connecting to their ancestors (those in their family who have died) and they use Peyote as part of this process, in their religious ceremonies.
Question: Should the employee be denied unemployment since they were fired for doing something illegal?
