How did the compass and astrolabe make exploration easier

The astrolabe allowed navigators to calculate their location based on the position of the sun and starts in relation to the horizon. The compass allowed sailors to know which direction they were sailing.

It show the direction west and north and south include east . I think it around china age they create compass which show direction which of easy to get with travel.

During the paleolithic, hominins grouped together in small societies such as bands, and subsisted by gathering  plants  and fishing, hunting or scavenging wild  animals. the paleolithic is characterized by the use of knapped stone tools, although at the time humans also used  wood  and bone tools.
