The process of domestication of plants and seed is long and complex. Humans began early to use seeds for making art like necklaces and decorations. They also ate a lot of different seeds that they had discovered were not toxic. At some point, and likely by accident they noticed that seeds were able to grow into plants (probably after seen a seed they had eaten, grow into a plant in their feces, as it provided a good fertilizer). After that discovery, it consisted of thousands of years of selection of the best plants and seeds fot they to adapt to human needs.
