Explain the difference between deforestation, desertification, and damming.

Deforestation: cutting down forests for particular reasons, including creation of farmlands, need for firewood, clearings for houses, etc

desertification: Overuse of land to the point that the land loses it's mineral wealth and becomes a desert overtime. This happens usually with over farming, when a certain group of people farm a area for a long time without stopping or changing

Damming: Stopping or restricting water flow, usually for generating electricity or holding back flooding. This usually caused a shortage of fishes and other marine-life, and animals that depend on these that live inland will slowly die off
