You know you can use google for this right? What specific aspects of their lives are you supposed to compare?
Personally I would compare citizenship, and rights. Spartan women had significantly more rights as citizens and greater freedoms in the community.
I would point out that in Sparta they believed that Spartan women were especially better than women any where else in the world because "only Spartan women give birth to real men." Spartans had some serious egos. They were tough and they knew it. They believed that their girls should be involved in sports & made strong so that they could bare stronger children, specifcally so they could literally make tougher men. This belief led to Spartan women openly getting allot more respect in their society than women in many other parts of the world at the time. Athenian women were confined to women's quarters n their own homes and taught skills such as embroidery.
Athens was known for its artisans, philopsophers, politics, and art. They considered themselves to be highly intelligent, sohpisticated, educated, and generally more civilized than others. Spartans thought the athenians were soft. Spart is still famous for its highly militarized society.
Women of Athens generally could not own property. Women of Sparta could.

Compared to Spartan women, Athenian women were of lower status in their society, while Spartan women often had more freedom and rights. While Athenian women were considered almost as property to their husbands, Spartan women were usually dominant in the family. They were usually educated in many subjects like the men in their families. Athenian women on the other hand were not usually educated and had little rights and were controlled by their husbands. Spartan women, on the other hand, once of age, were considered a full citizen of Sparta and gained rights including ownership of property, which is a freedom Athenian women do not have. However, despite these differences, both types of women are expected to respect and show loyalty to their city, conform to the laws and play a big role in their family. Family and marriage, for both women, was considered extremely important and crucial to their role in their society.
