The phrases "sects" and "cults" are frequently used interchangeably, however this is inaccurate. Cults refer to the  small, severe corporations, extreme groups and are frequently marked by using manipulative practices, corrupt leaders, and excessive practices.sects are not cults, in most situations and they are just spiritual offshoots of other groups. However these two terms are mostly confused.
