The rate of weathering depends upon the area's "climate".

Climate assumes a complete job in the breakdown of rocks into soils and residue, a procedure known as weathering. Rocks found in tropical atmospheres and presented to loads of rain, dampness and warmth separate or climate quicker than comparative rocks do when situated in territories of the world with dry and cool atmospheres.  

Weathering happens one of three different ways: through physical procedures, for example, solidifying and defrosting, as a result of live living beings whose roots break rocks or through compound procedures that happen when carbon dioxide in the dirt and air and blends with water and explicit minerals in rocks to frame a feeble corrosive that lessens rocks into residue, soil and silt.
