In general, the behavior of the person changes much faster when working to reduce a behavior, the preferred consequence is positive, for example: change "Stop fighting with your sister" and increase, at the same time, another desired behavior, "Play nicely with your sister."For each behavior, you must record the frequency, intensity (low to high), and duration. Once you have approximately 10 recorded incidents, you may see patterns of the cause of the behavior.
