Another similarity between both of these rebellions is that both of them did not succeed as well. Both the Indians and the Chinese were subjected to oppression from the British colonizers. The objectives of both of these rebellions were to remove foreign interference in their respective countries. The two countries felt like the British were taking advantage of their products and manpower. Because of this, the Sepoys in India revolted while the Boxers in China also did the same thing.
