So many names in the States are words with Spanish origins – Los Angeles, San Diego, Colorado and San Francisco. Still more recent is the use of ‘ista’, a Spanish suffix, in the English language. For example ‘fashionista’.  Even president, Bill Clinton established a precedent of translating the State of the Union address and other presidential speeches into Spanish.
