Assume this vocabulary word: salón de clases (clasroom), escritorio (desk), pupitres (desk), ventanas (windows), pizarron (blackboard), estantes (bookcase), morrales (backpacks), libro (book), alumnos (pupils), maestra o maestro (teacher), lápiz (pencil), cuaderno (notebook), bolígrafo (pen).

Sentence #1.

Key verb: hay (there is / there are).

En el salón the la clase the español hay 14 pupitres, pero en la clase de inglés hay solo 10 pupitries.

Translation: In the classroom of the Spanish class there are 14 desks, but in the English class there are only 10 desks.

Sentence #2.

Key verb: usar (to use).

En la clase the inglés usamos lápices para escribir en nuestros cuadernos, pero en la clase de español solo usamos boligrafos.

Translation: In the English class we use pencils to write in our notebooks, but in the Spanish class we only use pens.

Key verb (sentar)

Translation: In the Spanish class I sit close to the teacher, but in the English class I sit further, because I am ashamed.

Key verb: colocar

En la clase de español colocamos los libros en los estantes, pero en la clase de español los colocamos debajo del pupitre.

Translation: In the Spanish class we place the books on the bookcases, but in the Spanish class we place them under the desk.
