2 Know the requirements for your presentation.
Note: The sample sentences in parentheses are just a guide to help you form your
sentences. You must come up with your own original answers keeping academic integrity
intact.
• In one sentence, state which room is your favorite and why. (e. g., My favorite room in
the house is the kitchen because I love to eat.)
o In one sentence, describe where the room is in relation to other rooms in the house,
using the correct form of the verb estar and at least two location prepositions (next
to, in front of, to the left of, etc.) (e. g., The kitchen is between the living room and the
dining room and near the garage.)
o In one sentence, state at least three items that you can find in that room using
adjectives. (e. g., There is a white stove, a tall refrigerator, and a brown table.)
o In one sentence, state at least two activities that you do in the room, using the
present tense yo form of the verbs. (e. g., I eat dinner and do my homework in the
kitchen.)

Finalize your oral presentation.
• Give your presentation in Spanish using appropriate vocabulary and grammar.
o Speak clearly and loudly enough for the microphone to record all of your words.
o Speak at an appropriate rate. (Don't speak too quickly or too slowly, and do not take
extended pauses.)
o Use correct pronunciation and grammar.
o Use a tone of voice appropriate to the task and audience.
