50 points write a conversation of you bargaining in Spanish
Think about what you'd say if you were shopping in a place where what's on the price tag is never the final price. What do you think you'd say to get a better price on something you really want to buy?

Remember, when shopping in the markets in many Spanish-speaking countries, the salespeople actually expect you to bargain for a lower price. It's a little piece of the markets' culture, so it's important to know a few phrases.

There are a few steps to the process to make it a little easier.

First, show an interest in the item, but never too interested. Ask how much it costs, but don't settle for that price. Always be willing to walk away. Make an offer, but remember that the salesperson will probably counteroffer, so offer a little lower than what you want to pay. Be careful, don't make an offer that's insulting. Remember, the salesperson may have made the item by hand.
