What are some things in Mexico that are a lot like the United States. For example?

Both countries believe in the value of education, both teach the same subjects, many of the clothes we wear are the same as well as similar food and a value of religion plus much of American and Mexican culture blend together in certain places in the US which also makes the transition to American culture easier.

Given that the US took land from Mexico, Texas, New Mexico for example have a lot of Spanish names from the Mexican culture. Both countries are deeply religious even though Mexico is mainly catholic and the US is mainly Protestant. And tacos!
