An indirect object is someone who receives the direct object. Hence, Who receives the gift (the direct object)? ¡Jorge's mom obviously! So, the indirect object is his mom.
Now let's change the direct object to a pronoun. First of all, you must know the gender of the object. Regalo is masculine, so the corresponding direct object is lo.
On the other hand, if we want to change the indirect object to a pronoun, we usually use the word le. Nevertheless, if le and lo come next to each other in a sentence, we must then change le to se. Finally, the changed sentence is:
Jorge se lo da

The translation is:
I want to give a gift to my sister

Just as in the previous sentence, given that regalo is masculine, its corresponding pronoun is lo. On the other hand, changing the indirect object pronoun from le to se, the result is the following sentence:
