One morning we found a baby bird.
The bird had been knocked from its nest by high winds.
It's mother was nowhere to be seen.
It was too young to fly.
We took it inside to care for it.
We ere excited about taking care of the bird.
We didn't know what to do about feeding it.

The little mouth flew open so often that we couldn't find enough insects to feed it.
Then we found out the little bird liked dog food.
It also liked little bits of cooked egg yolk.
We even made some worms out of hamburger meat.
